We're sending thousands of our best scientists to China. It would be hard to come up with a dumber set of policies.

Worse than dumb, this is also a violation of what it means to be American. I was told by one Chinese-born academic at MIT that even the FBI agents investigating him were apologetic, embarrassed by the "anti-espionage" policies they were forced to implement.
